Empty-home cleaning

Move-in & move-out cleaning in Los Angeles & Pasadena

A detailed clean of an empty home or apartment — inside cabinets, closets and appliances, along every baseboard and across every floor — so it is ready for the walkthrough or for your first night.

01Overview

Cleaning an empty home, done right

Moving is the one time a home is completely empty, which makes it the best moment to clean the places furniture and groceries usually hide: inside kitchen cabinets and drawers, inside the refrigerator and oven, closet shelves, and the floor along every wall.

Tenants book a move-out cleaning to hand back the keys with confidence. Landlords, property managers and real estate agents book it between occupants. New owners and renters book a move-in cleaning so they unpack into a home that is clean on the inside of every cabinet.

04FAQ

Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning: common questions

Still have a question? Call or text us — we are happy to help.

Will a move-out cleaning get my security deposit back?

No cleaning company can promise that — deposit decisions belong to the landlord and depend on the lease, damage and wear. What we can do is leave the unit thoroughly clean so cleaning is not a reason for deductions. Our move-out guide explains how California deposit rules relate to cleaning.

Does the home need to be empty?

Ideally yes. Cabinets, closets and floors can only be fully cleaned once furniture and belongings are out.

Do utilities need to be on?

Yes. Please make sure water and electricity are working on the day of the cleaning so we can use lights, outlets and hot water.

Do you clean carpets or walls?

We vacuum carpets; carpet shampooing and steam cleaning are not part of this service. Wall spot-cleaning can be requested as an add-on.
